Narrative history of Kansas
Description
This multi-volume series presents many of the events of pre-territorial and territorial Kansas in a narrative history. Volume two, which is largely historical, includes the accounts of Lane's Army of the North, the tide of emigration, the Republican Party in Kansas, the Kansas Militia, early political and law enforcement leaders in Kansas, and other important events in Kansas history. The remaining volumes in this series are mostly biographical. These volumes represent the first Kansas-specific work we have published.
